Job summary

Cyient Limited in Hyderabad seeks a Control Systems Engineer with 2–6 years of experience in DCS/PLC programming and HMI development. You will design, test, and validate control logic and graphics to support industrial processes.

The role involves reviewing requirements, generating system design specs, and ensuring traceability across documentation. Responsibilities include creating control narratives, macros, and HMI screens, plus performing logic and graphics testing and compiling test reports

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience in developing control logics in DCS/PLC systems
• Experience in graphics development for DCS/PLC HMIs based on P&IDs and specs
• Preparation of test cases and testing of logic and graphics

Having 2-6 years of experience in,

• Developing Control Logics in DCS\\PLC systems based on SAMA sheets & control narratives (preferably those that may have experience programming in a Function Block Diagram environment).
• Developing Graphics in DCS\\PLC HMI systems based on P&IDs and graphic specifications.
• Preparation of Control test cases/Instructions and perform logic & graphics testing.
• Review of Functional requirements, generation of System Design Specification, preparing of Technical Reports & Generate Requirement Traceability Matrix.
• Capture functional requirements from the design documents.
• System Engineering & Cabinet Engineering
• In DCS hardware engineering, you'll design, install, and maintain the physical components like controllers and I/O modules. You'll troubleshoot hardware issues, configure networks, and ensure the system functions flawlessly to control industrial processes
• Created Macros, Control Logic sheets, and HMI screens based on functional requirements.
• Test procedures developed for logic and graphics testing.
• Performed engineering, CTE, & functional testing for Macros, Logic, & HMI screens.
• Test reports created to demonstrate compliance with functional requirements.
• Capable of studying and modifying Control Narratives, Functional Logic Diagrams, Cause & Effect Diagrams.
