Job summary

Talent Hired-the Job Store is seeking a Mechanical/Production Engineer to lead the design and development of dashboard IP and console automotive parts, and to shape interior decorative and soft touch components. The role covers CAE for interior stiffness, parts and vehicle level testing, and ensuring compliance with regulations (ECE-R21).

It requires hands-on design experience across dashboard, interior parts, and manufacturing costing.

Qualifications

• B.E or B.Tech in Mechanical/ Production Engineering required.
• Desirable: M.Tech in Mechanical/ Production Engineering.
• Experience in dashboard design/development and interior parts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design & Development of Dashboard (I/P) & Console automotive parts and interior decorative parts.
• CAE of interior parts stiffness.
• Parts & Vehicle level testing.
• Regulation checks (ECE-R21) for interior fitting.
• Cost & weight monitoring at part/sub-system level.
• Coordinate with business partners for development.

Role:

• Design & Development of Dashboard (I/P) & Console automotive parts
• Design & Development of Automotive interiors decorative parts, soft touch interior parts using various technologies.
• CAE of Interior parts stiffness
• Parts & Vehicle level testing

Responsibilities:

• Design & Development of Dashboard (I/P) & Console automotive parts & interior decorative parts, soft touch parts as per program schedule. CAE of Interior parts stiffness/Designer CAE
• Parts & Vehicle level testing as per program schedule.
• Regulation Checks specially interior fitting ECE -R21.
• Cost & Weight monitoring at Part & Sub-System level.
• Countermeasure planning, as necessary, based on Design/ Quality Reviews, Line Feedback & Testing.
• Coordination with business partners for development of

Technical/ Functional:

• Experience of Design or Development in at-least one domain areas in any of the following:
• Dashboard (I/P) Parts
• Interior Decorative parts Console parts
• Understanding of Manufacturing processes and Costing Functions.
