Job summary

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. is seeking an engineer to design and develop instrument panels and console components, including interior decorative and soft touch parts. The role involves CAE analysis of stiffness and extensive parts and vehicle level testing to meet program schedules.

Responsibilities include regulatory checks (ECE-R21), cost and weight monitoring, and coordination with partners to advance parts development. Experience in automotive interiors is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in design or development in at least one domain area: interior decorative parts.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and costing functions.
• Hands-on testing experience at part and vehicle levels.
