Job summary

Abdc Connect in Chennai seeks an experienced Institutional Dealing professional to execute large-block orders for institutional clients across equity cash and derivatives. You will engage with fund managers, dealers and internal desks during trading hours, ensuring compliance with SEBI and exchange guidelines.

The role requires 2-7+ years in institutional/equity dealing, hands-on terminal experience (Bloomberg/NEAT/ODIN), and NISM Series VIII certification.

Qualifications

• 2-7+ years of experience in Institutional Dealing / Equity Dealing with a reputed broking firm or financial services company.
• Mandatory certification: NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives).
• Hands-on experience with institutional trading terminals (e.g., Bloomberg, Omnesys, NEAT, ODIN) and FIX protocol connectivity.
• High numerical accuracy, ability to perform under pressure during peak market hours, and strong communication skills.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Trade Execution: Fast, error-free execution of large-block orders for institutional clients (DIIs, FIIs, Mutual Funds, Insurance, and Corporate Treasuries) across Equity Cash and Derivatives (F&O) segments.
• Client & Desk Engagement: Maintain active communication with institutional fund managers, dealers, and internal research/sales-trading desks during trading hours.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Adhere strictly to SEBI, exchange guidelines, and internal risk limits for trade execution and dealing room decorum.
• Market Intelligence: Provide real-time market updates, block-deal intelligence, and order-flow feedback to institutional clients.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience: 2 -7+ years of experience in Institutional Dealing / Equity Dealing with a reputed broking firm or financial services company.
• Mandatory Certification: Valid NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives)
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with institutional trading terminals (e.g., Bloomberg, Omnesys, NEAT, ODIN) and FIX protocol connectivity.
