Job summary

Dr. Ridhima Arora’s dermatology practice seeks a skilled Instagram Reels Scriptwriter and Content Developer to turn medical notes into engaging, natural-sounding scripts for an Indian audience.

On-site six days a week, you’ll work with the doctor and her content team to craft hooks, structure, and takeaway moments that educate without sponsorship. You’ll write in English and Hinglish, balance accuracy with engaging storytelling, and collaborate to refine lines during filming based on feedback

Qualifications

• Experience writing scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or similar formats.
• Strong storytelling, pacing and writing for spoken delivery.
• Excellent English and natural Hinglish writing.
• Understanding Indian audiences, especially women interested in skin/hair care.
• Ability to develop ideas independently and justify creative choices.
• Strong editing, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to revise work and align with creator's voice.

Responsibilities

• Develop original Instagram Reel scripts from topics, notes and rough drafts provided by Dr. Ridhima Arora.
• Identify strongest angle for each topic and ensure relevance to viewers.
• Write hooks, build curiosity, structure information and deliver a clear takeaway.
• Improve existing scripts by tightening structure, transitions and avoiding repetition.
• Write conversational English and Hinglish that sounds natural on camera.
• Add relatable observations, humour and emotion where appropriate.
• Contribute fresh content ideas and recurring series ideas for audience concerns.
• Read scripts aloud and refine rhythm and phrasing before filming.
• Collaborate during filming to adjust lines for natural delivery.
• Incorporate feedback and audience data to improve future scripts.
• Preserve medical information and avoid exaggerated claims.

Job Title: Instagram Reels Scriptwriter & Content Developer

We are looking for a skilled writer to work with Dr. Ridhima Arora, a practising dermatologist creating evidence-led, non-sponsored content about skin, hair and skincare products.

The role involves turning medical information, research, ideas and rough drafts into engaging scripts that feel natural when spoken and connect with an Indian audience.

Work Schedule and Availability

• On-site attendance is required six days per week, with eight working hours per day.
• You must remain reachable by phone and WhatsApp during working hours and respond promptly to work-related messages and calls.
• Timely communication, participation in script discussions and meeting agreed deadlines are essential.
• The role requires working closely with Dr. Ridhima and her content team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop original Instagram Reel scripts from topics, research notes, voice notes and rough drafts provided by Dr. Ridhima.
• Identify the strongest angle for each topic and make its relevance immediately clear to the viewer.
• Write clear hooks, build curiosity, structure information thoughtfully and deliver a satisfying takeaway.
• Improve existing scripts by reworking their structure, strengthening transitions, removing repetition and simplifying complex explanations.
• Write conversational English and Hinglish that sounds natural on camera and reflects Dr. Ridhimas voice.
• Bring relatable observations, examples, humour and emotion into scripts where appropriate.
• Contribute fresh content ideas and develop recurring series around audience concerns.
• Read scripts aloud and refine their rhythm, length and phrasing before filming.
• Collaborate during filming to adjust lines that are difficult to deliver or do not sound natural.
• Incorporate feedback and use audience response and available performance data to improve future scripts.
• Preserve the meaning of medical information and incorporate clinical corrections without exaggerating claims.

Skills and Experience Required

• Demonstrated experience writing scripts for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or other short videos.
• A strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, audience attention and writing for spoken delivery.
• Excellent English and natural Hinglish writing skills.
• An understanding of the everyday concerns and experiences of Indian audiences, particularly women interested in skin and hair care.
• The ability to develop an idea independently and explain creative choices.
• Strong editing skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet agreed deadlines.
• Willingness to revise work and develop a consistent understanding of the creators voice.

Experience with educational, beauty, health or creator‑led content is preferred. Medical qualifications are not required; Dr. Ridhima will provide clinical direction and review medical accuracy.

Original Writing Requirement

We are hiring for your own writing ability and creative judgement. ChatGPT or other generative AI tools must not be used to generate script ideas, write drafts, rewrite or polish scripts. Original human writing is a core requirement of this role.
