Job summary

PerkinElmer in Mumbai seeks an Application Specialist — Inorganic to coordinate cross-functional activities and deliver high-level product demos for ICPMS-related platforms. You will train Sales Professionals and agents, and help translate customer needs into technical demonstrations.

The role requires a Master’s in Science and at least five years of relevant experience, with a focus on ICPMS/MS, ICPMS, ICPOES, and AAS.

Qualifications

• Master’s in Science is mandatory with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in inorganic ICPMS applications and customer training.
• Ability to conduct high-level demos and technical support.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate interdepartmental activities and plan high-level demos for Inorganic PL.
• Provide training on ICPMS/MS, ICPMS, ICPOES, AAS, MDS to sales staff and partners.
• Support customers and sales teams to overcome objections and close opportunities.
• Troubleshoot instrument applications to enhance customer satisfaction.

Job Description

Coordinates interdepartmental activities and research efforts. Plans and provides timely high-level demos of Inorganic PL in agreement with Sales, Product & Business leader. Assists Sales Professionals in assessing customer needs, differentiating from competition PKI’s value proposition, handling customer objections and helping to close when necessary for Inorganic PL. Performs product and applications training on ICPMS/MS, ICPMS, ICPOES, AAS, MDS, Speciation to Sales Professionals and third-party agents/dealers and develops sales professionals’ skills for simple demos and independent selling. Shall be able to take up advanced levels Inorganic PL application & software trainings at COE lab & customer sites. Capable of troubleshooting applications & instrument challenges to enhance customer experience. Provides technical support to the local sales professionals Assists service partners in developing the training material and becoming independent in performing high level customers training. Generates a high level of customer satisfaction through professional support. Maintain domain knowledge and expertise in relevant markets. Monitors market trends and competitive activity and how this relates to our products/business. Expertise in of PerkinElmer’s ICPMS/MS, ICPMS, ICPOES, AAS, MDS & its operating software is must.
