Job summary

Arni Medica Private Limited in Patancheru, near Hyderabad, is hiring Injection Molding Technicians to operate molding machines and maintain precision medical device molds in a cleanroom environment.

You will set up and run hydraulic, electric and hybrid molding machines, adjust process parameters, prevent defects, and support QA/QC with proper documentation and record-keeping.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Plastics Technology, Mechanical, or Tool and Die Making; CIPET certification preferred.
• Reading engineering drawings and using measuring instruments; maintaining records in English.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start up, operate and shut down injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
• Perform mold loading/unloading, clamping, alignment and changeovers safely with target times.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters to keep parts within specification.
• Identify and correct molding defects and coordinate with service engineers as needed.
• Execute preventive maintenance on molds and perform simple repairs.
• Maintain mold history cards, shot counters and spare parts records.
• Follow GMP and ISO Class 7/8 cleanroom practices and 5S; support QA/QC checks.

Arni Medica Private Limited, an ISO 13485:2016 certified medical devices and IVD manufacturer at the Medical Devices Park, Hyderabad, is hiring Injection Molding Technicians to operate our molding machines and maintain precision medical device molds in a cleanroom environment.

• Set up, start up, operate and shut down injection molding machines (hydraulic, electric and hybrid) and auxiliary equipment: material dryers, hopper loaders, granulators, mold temperature controllers, chillers and sprue pickers/robots.
• Perform mold loading, unloading, clamping, alignment and changeovers safely and within target changeover times.
• Monitor and adjust process parameters (temperature, pressure, injection speed, cooling and cycle time) to keep parts within specification.
• Identify and correct molding defects such as short shots, flash, sink marks, warpage, weld lines, burn marks and color variation; escape machine breakdowns and coordinate with service engineers.
• Execute preventive maintenance on molds: disassembly, cleaning, polishing of cavities and cores, venting checks, lubrication, seal replacement and reassembly.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hot runner systems, ejector systems, slides, lifters, cooling channels and mold sensors; carry out minor bench repairs and preservation/storage of molds.
• Maintain mold history cards, shot counters and spare parts records.
• Follow GMP and cleanroom (ISO Class 7/8) practices: gowning, contamination control and line clearance; maintain 5S, machine guards and safe handling of resins and hot surfaces.
• Complete logbooks, batch records and checklists accurately per ISO 13485 procedures; support in-process quality checks with QA/QC.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Plastics Technology, Mechanical, or Tool and Die Making; CIPET certification preferred.
• 2 to 6 years of hands-on injection molding machine operation and mold maintenance experience.
• Experience in medical device, IVD or other precision/cleanroom molding is a strong advantage.
• Working knowledge of polymers such as PP, PE, ABS, PC, PVC and TPE; exposure to machines such as Arburg, Engel, Toshiba, Haitian or Ferromatik Milacron preferred.
• Able to read engineering drawings, use measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, height gauge) and maintain records in English.
