Job summary

INNOCRAFT ELECTROPLAST INDIA PVT. LTD. is seeking a Production Supervisor for injection molding. You will supervise daily production plans, monitor machine output and manpower, and drive efficiency improvements on the shop floor.

You will lead defect resolution with QC, maintain process discipline, ensure material handling and 5S compliance, and train operators to sustain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with plastic injection molding and process troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of cycle times, throughput and quality metrics.
• Experience handling automotive plastic components is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily/shift production plans and monitor output and manpower.
• Supervise injection molding operations including startup/shutdown and cycle times.
• Identify defects (flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage, burns) and drive corrective actions with QC.
• Reduce rejection, rework, scrap and downtime; coordinate with Maintenance.
• Ensure materials availability, traceability and proper regrind usage.
• Maintain production reports, downtimes, OEE tracking and handovers.
• Train operators, uphold 5S, PPE and workplace safety standards.

Job Description | Injection Molding Production Supervisor

Role Summary

Responsible for supervising injection molding production, achieving daily targets, managing manpower, optimizing machine efficiency, minimizing rejection and downtime, ensuring product quality, and maintaining safety and 5S standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Execute daily and shift-wise production plans; monitor machine-wise output, efficiency and manpower allocation.
• Supervise injection molding operations, machine startup/shutdown, process parameters, cycle time and mold changeovers.
• Identify and resolve defects including flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage and burn marks; coordinate corrective actions with Quality.
• Reduce rejection, rework, scrap and machine downtime; coordinate breakdowns and preventive maintenance with Maintenance and Tool Room.
• Ensure raw material availability, proper handling, identification, traceability and controlled regrind use.
• Maintain daily production reports, rejection records, downtime analysis, shift handovers and OEE tracking.
• Train operators, maintain discipline, ensure PPE compliance, workplace safety and 5S standards.

Required Skills

• Injection molding process and machine operation; molding defect troubleshooting; production planning and control.
• Cycle time optimization, rejection reduction, OEE improvement, manpower management, mold changeover coordination and reporting.
• Experience with automotive plastic components preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Mechanical, Plastics or Production Engineering; CIPET qualification preferred.
• 7-8 years of plastic injection molding production experience, including shop-floor supervision.
