Rentomojo is seeking an In-House Creator Intern to join our Bengaluru Marketing team. This paid internship emphasizes creating content that reaches millions, not just consuming it.

Ideate, shoot, edit, and publish short-form content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and paid ads. You’ll be on-camera for UGC-style videos, plan weekly shoots, edit with captions and music, and coordinate with editors to repurpose longer content into short-form formats.

About the Role We're looking for an In-House Creator Intern to join our Marketing team. This role is for someone who doesn't just consume content but loves creating it. If you're constantly thinking about your next Reel, experimenting with hooks, or spotting trends before everyone else, you'll fit right in. This isn't a typical social media internship. It's an opportunity to create content that reaches millions while learning how a fast-growing consumer brand builds its presence online.

What You'll Do Create

Content End-to-End

• Ideate, shoot, edit, and publish short-form content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and paid ads.
• Be the on-camera creator for UGC-style videos, skits, trend-based content, and long-form explainers.
• Capture behind-the-scenes content, product demos, and creator-led videos.

Content Ideation & Research

• Research trending formats, memes, and viral conversations.
• Track competitor content and identify opportunities for Rentomojo.
• Build a repository of content ideas, hooks, and creative references.

Shoot Planning & Execution

• Plan weekly shoot schedules and shot lists.
• Assist in directing and executing creative shoots.

Video Editing

• Edit engaging short-form videos with strong storytelling and audience retention.
• Add captions, transitions, music, and platform-native edits.
• Coordinate with video editors to repurpose long-form content into engaging short-form videos.

Social Media Support

• Assist in managing content calendars across platforms.
• Write captions and support content publishing.
• Monitor trends and identify opportunities for reactive content.
• Help maintain consistency across Rentomojo's social channels.

Community & Audience Insights

• Monitor comments, DMs, and audience conversations.
• Identify recurring customer pain points and convert them into content ideas.
• Track content performance and share actionable insights.

Who We’re Looking For

• You're already creating content consistently on Instagram, YouTube Shorts, or other social platforms.
• You're comfortable being on camera and can independently shoot and edit content using a smartphone or camera.
• You understand storytelling, hooks, pacing, and audience retention.
• You're curious about trends and know how to adapt them for a brand.
• You're proactive, creative, and excited to experiment with new ideas.
• You're comfortable working from our Bengaluru office and being hands-on during shoots.
