Job Description

• Middleware knowledge is a must, with experience using Tomcat, Apache and Linux application support; strong middleware experience is required.
• 4 to 7 years of experience required.
• Understanding of web requests on the above web servers is required to support release application fixes and major/minor releases.
• Must diagnose and solve software faults.
• Responsible for reporting and tracking post‑product bugs, fixes and enhancements with the product development team.
• Responsible for updating incidents, remediation tasks and problem root‑cause analysis tasks in ServiceNow.
• Required to participate in change‑management activities.
• Must communicate with end users and capture tickets/incidents related to the application over phone or IM.
• Must be available for on‑call support as needed and respond to callouts in a timely fashion.

Qualifications

• BE in Computer Science or a related technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience working on highly available systems in on‑premise or cloud hosting environments.
• Strong communication skills and active listening.
• Strong teamwork ethic – willing to jump in to assist others.
