Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services invites applications for an Infrastructure Architect (NSX) to design, deploy, and manage software-defined networking with NSX-T, AVI, and Linux security. The candidate will lead NSX-T deployments, ensure high availability of load balancers, and collaborate across teams to integrate VMware solutions.

Ideal applicants have 10+ years of experience in network architectures, strong SDN knowledge, and VMware certifications.

Qualifications

• Design and implement network solutions using NSX-T, AVI, and Secure Linux to support hyper-converged infra
• Lead deployment of NSX-T components including logical networking and firewall services
• Deploy and maintain AVI load balancers for high availability and security
• Collaborate with infra teams to integrate VMware solutions with existing systems
• Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments for growth
• Maintain documentation of network designs, configurations, change records, and procedures
• Strong SDN understanding and NSX-T management experience
• Provide expert support during testing and troubleshooting of VMware infra
• Communicate complex tech concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• VMware certifications (VCP/VCAP) desirable

• eDesign, implement, and maintain network solutions using NSX-T, AVI, and Secure Linux technologies to support hyper-converged infrastructure environments
• .Lead the deployment and configuration of NSX-T components, including logical networking, distributed firewall, load balancer, and VPN services, to enable network virtualisation and micro-segmentation
• .Deploy and maintain AVI load balancers for modern application delivery, automation, and analytics, ensuring high availability, performance, and security
• .Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to integrate VMware solutions with existing systems and technologies
• .Perform capacity planning and scalability assessments to ensure network infrastructures can support current and future growth requirements
• .Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network designs, configurations, change records, and operational procedures
• .Strong understanding of software-defined networking (SDN) principles and experience with NSX-T configuration and managemen
• tProvide technical expertise and support during the testing, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues related to VMware infrastructure
• .Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile team environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• .VMware certifications such as VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) are highly desirable

Good-to-Have

• Familiarity with data centre/Datacentre/Datacenter/ Datacentres/ Data centres/DC infrastructure, migration/integration experience is a big plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to convey technically complex information in a clear and concise manner
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail
• In-depth knowledge of virtualization concepts, VMware vSphere architecture, and related technologies
