Job summary

ATS Services in India seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator to manage LAN/WAN, servers, CCTV, and DevOps-related infra across BFSI environments. The role requires 8–10 years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience, with strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, and network devices.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Administrator to manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, servers, desktops, CCTV, network security and DevOps-related infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure in a Banking, Insurance, BPO, or similar environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, switches, routers, firewalls, and Wi-Fi networks.
   
2. Monitor network performance, connectivity, bandwidth, and troubleshoot network-related issues.
   
3. Administer and maintain Windows/Linux servers, including user access, backups, storage, and system health.
   
4. Manage desktop, laptop, printer, scanner, and other IT hardware.
   
5. Handle installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructure.
   
6. Manage CCTV systems, NVR/DVR, access control, and other physical security infrastructure.
   
7. Monitor IT infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and business continuity.
   
8. Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, user accounts, and access permissions.
   
9. Coordinate with internet service providers, OEMs, vendors, and other technology partners.
   
10. Support DevOps infrastructure, including basic administration of Git, Docker, CI/CD environments, and cloud infrastructure.
    
11. Implement and monitor backup, disaster recovery, antivirus/endpoint security, and patch management.
    
12. Maintain IT asset inventory, infrastructure documentation, network diagrams, and configuration records.
    
13. Ensure compliance with IT security policies, audit requirements, and industry-specific controls applicable to Banking, Insurance, and BPO environments.
    
14. Provide technical support for infrastructure-related incidents and ensure timely resolution as per SLA.
    
15. Participate in infrastructure upgrades, new office setups, system migrations, and IT projects.
    
16. Maintain proper documentation of incidents, changes, configurations, and preventive maintenance activities.
    

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

• 8–10 years of hands-on experience in IT Infrastructure Administration.
  
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, routing, switching, and Wi-Fi.
  
• Experience with Cisco/HP/Aruba or similar network devices.
  
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory; Linux administration is an added advantage.
  
• Experience with firewalls, network security, endpoint security, and monitoring tools.
  
• Hands-on experience in desktop/laptop hardware and troubleshooting.
  
• Experience managing CCTV, NVR/DVR, biometric/access control systems.
  
• Knowledge of backup solutions, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  
• Working knowledge of DevOps tools such as Git, Docker, Jenkins/GitLab CI/CD, and basic cloud platforms.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and incident-management skills.
  
• Good vendor and stakeholder management skills.
  

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft, Linux, AWS/Azure, or ITIL will be an advantage.

Experience in Banking, Insurance, BPO, Contact Centre, or other highly regulated environments will be preferred.
