Job summary

FIS Global is hiring for a Connex/Base24 Developer on HP NonStop for the Pune/Chennai/Bangalore axis. You will join a talented team maintaining the FIS Flagship Transaction Debit Processing Switch; Connex on HP Nonstop, driving data solutions for internal and external customers.

You will work in a scrum team with PMs, developers, analysts, and QA, performing design, coding, testing, and enhancements across the suite. A strong background in Connex/Base24 and TAL/C is needed.

Qualifications

• 2–15 years of Connex/Base24/EPOC development experience.
• Experience with HP NonStop/Tandem development.
• Programming in TAL or C; COBOL/SCOBOL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support Connex/Base24 on HP NonStop as part of a scrum team.
• Analyze, design, code, test, and maintain software for card transaction processing.
• Perform site reliability engineering tasks and maintain system reliability.

About the team

An amazing opportunity to join a talented team maintaining the FIS Flagship Transaction Debit Processing Switch; Connex on HP Nonstop. Leveraging Safe Agile framework to provide innovative data solutions driving real business value to both our internal and external customers.

What you will be doing

• A multifaceted HP NonStop/Tandem platform software Developer cum SRE position (for Card Transaction Authorization Processing (AP) function) with a high degree of responsibility and a broad spectrum of opportunities (of doing both application development & site reliability engineering role).
• Assigned to a scrum team consisting of project manager/scrum master, developers, business analysts, and quality control testers.
• Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, modifies, and unit tests software enhancements and/or new products.

What you bring

• Minimum 2 - 15 years of experience in Connex or Base24 or EPOC Development
• Experience with HP NonStop/Tandem development with skills in performing requirement analysis, design, and coding in Connex or Base24.
• Programming experience with TAL or C
• Good to have experience in COBOL, SCOBOL.
• Experience with Pathway, Enscribe, and SQL systems.
