Responsibilities

• Design visually appealing creatives for digital platforms (website, social media, courses, and marketing materials).
• Maintain and update the company website (WordPress-based).
• Ensure plugins are up-to-date, secure, and compatible.
• Research and recommend plugins or tools to improve performance and user experience.
• Monitor website uptime, speed, and security.
• Coordinate with designers/developers for major updates or redesigns.
• Manage Microsoft 365 accounts, licenses, and configurations.
• Set up and maintain employee computers, software, and network access.
• Provide desktop support and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Ensure data backups and recovery systems are in place.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT professional to oversee the complete technology ecosystem of our company. This includes managing our website, plugins, hosting, Microsoft 365 environment, employee hardware setups, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong understanding of web technologies, desktop support, and enterprise IT tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Design visually appealing creatives for digital platforms (website, social media, courses, and marketing materials).
• Create course thumbnails, infographics, eLearning visuals, and presentation graphics for MindMeld programs.
• Collaborate with content writers, instructional designers, and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency.
• Conceptualize and execute layout designs for email campaigns, brochures, and promotional materials.
• Edit and optimize images, icons, and illustrations for online publishing.
• Manage design projects from concept to delivery, ensuring timely completion.
• Stay updated with design trends and incorporate innovative techniques to enhance visual appeal.

Website & Plugin Management

• Maintain and update the company website (WordPress-based).
• Ensure all plugins are up-to-date, secure, and compatible.
• Research and recommend new plugins or tools to improve performance and user experience.
• Monitor website uptime, speed, and security.
• Coordinate with designers/developers for major updates or redesigns.

IT Infrastructure & Company Tech Management

• Manage Microsoft 365 accounts, licenses, and configurations.
• Set up and maintain employee computers, software, and network access.
• Provide desktop support and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Ensure data backups and recovery systems are in place.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and software licenses.

Security & Compliance

• Implement basic cybersecurity practices across systems.
• Ensure secure access to company resources and data.
• Monitor for vulnerabilities and apply patches as needed.0
• Track and optimize costs related to hosting, plugins, software subscriptions, and hardware.
• Liaise with vendors for procurement and support.
• Stay updated with emerging tech trends releva0nt to the business.
• Propose and implement tech solutions to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in IT support, system administration, and website management.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress, plugins, and basic HTML/CSS.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration.
• Experience with desktop engineering and hardware setup.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in IT (CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)
• Experience in an edtech or startup environment.
