Job summary

Sonata Software in Bengaluru is seeking Okta Engineers with 6 to 8 years of experience to drive identity and access projects. You will define Okta architecture, implement SSO and provisioning for complex apps, and design scalable IAM solutions across enterprise platforms.

Lead security hardening, policy enforcement, and SoD while advancing integration frameworks and workflow automation. BE/BTech or higher is required, with strong collaboration across security, IT, and product teams.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Design & Architecture

• Define and implement Okta architecture, including workflow enhancements, custom connectors, and integration frameworks.
• Develop role-based policies, enforce Segregation of Duties (SoD), and design scalable IAM solutions.
• Lead upgrades, patching, optimization, and security hardening initiatives.

Advanced Integrations & Customization

• Oversee Single Sign-On (SSO) and provisioning integrations for complex applications.
• Build and maintain custom workflows, connectors, and integrations for IGA/PAM systems.
• Manage MFA configurations and other advanced authentication settings

Governance & Compliance

• Drive access certification campaigns and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Perform IGA workflow monitoring, troubleshooting, and connector customization.
• Address Okta vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience with Okta Identity Cloud, IGA, PAM, and advanced IAM concepts.
• Proven track record in architecture design, custom development, and security compliance.
• Strong knowledge of workflow automation, policy enforcement, and risk management.
• Ability to lead strategic initiatives, mentor teams, and manage cross-functional collaboration.
