Job summary

Sonata Software in Chennai is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will blend manual and automated testing with strong Python expertise and familiarity with hardware domains.

You will design and maintain automation frameworks, test across video, audio, Bluetooth, and WiFi platforms, and collaborate with software and hardware groups to ensure robust quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years QA experience in automation and manual testing.
• Proficiency in Python for testing and scripting.
• Experience in C, C++, Javascript; Typescript is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, GitHub, or comparable tools.
• Expertise in automation tools such as Appium, Selenium, or equivalents.
• Good understanding of hardware interfaces and protocols (video, audio, Bluetooth, WiFi).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal abilities.
• Self-motivated, able to work from office.

Responsibilities
