Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions is seeking a Tier-3 IP/MPLS & Security Support Engineer to join our hybrid- work team in Chennai. You will be the final escalation point for complex network and security incidents and mentor Tier-1/2 NOC staff.

You will troubleshoot IP/MPLS backbones, firewalls, CGNAT platforms, and VPNs, lead major incident calls, and coordinate with Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Check Point to restore services quickly.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with IP/MPLS networks
• Strong knowledge of MPLS, L3VPN/L2VPN, VPLS/EVPN
• Solid knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS
• Experience with firewalls and CGNAT platforms
• Exposure to Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Check Point technologies
• Excellent troubleshooting and incident management skills

Responsibilities

• Act as the final escalation point for complex network and security incidents
• Troubleshoot IP/MPLS backbones, core routers, firewalls, and CGNAT platforms
• Lead major incident calls (P1/P2) and drive rapid service restoration
• Support and mentor Tier-1 and Tier-2 NOC teams
• Diagnose issues across MPLS, VPNs, routing protocols, and performance
• Handle escalations related to firewalls, NAT, VPNs, and security policies
• Collaborate with vendors such as Nokia, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, and Check Point
• Review and support network changes, upgrades, and maintenance activities
• Produce RCAs and technical documentation and share knowledge across teams

We're looking for a Tier-3 IP/MPLS & Security Support Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in supporting high-availability, multi-vendor infrastructures.

• Act as the final escalation point for complex network and security incidents
