The Infection Control Nurse is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This role involves monitoring, implementing, and evaluating infection prevention and control protocols across clinical and training facilities, in alignment with current evidence-based guidelines. The Infection Control Nurse will conduct routine infection surveillance, risk assessments, and audits, and will collaborate with medical and nursing teams to reduce healthcare-associated infections. Responsibilities include educating staff and students on infection prevention practices, updating policies and procedures, supporting outbreak investigations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The role also requires accurate documentation, reporting of infection data, and continuous quality improvement initiatives in infection control.
