Job summary

Amor Management Consultants is seeking an experienced Project Management-oriented Electrical/Electronics Engineer to guide product development, NPI and industrialization, ensuring a smooth transition from development to manufacturing and series production.

The role requires coordinating with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and Quality, driving cost optimization and manufacturing readiness, with exposure to global engineering environments as a plus.

Qualifications

• Electrical / Electronics Engineering degree required.
• Experience in Electrical / Electronics Engineering, R&D, product development, NPI or industrialization is essential.
• Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills are required.
• Experience transferring products from development/concept to manufacturing/series production is preferred.
• Exposure to cost reduction, VA/VE, localization or Make-or-Buy activities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrialization and NPI projects related to electrical/electronic products and components.
• Act as a Sub-Project Lead for transferring newly developed products from concept/development to series production.
• Coordinate with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality and other cross-functional stakeholders for successful execution.
• Support product industrialization, manufacturing readiness and production launch activities.
• Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives; contribute to VA/VE activities.
• Follow PLM workflows, engineering changes, project milestones and documentation.
• Identify industrialization risks and coordinate timely resolution with relevant functions.
• Ensure smooth transition of products from development to manufacturing and series production.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Project Management-oriented Electrical/Electronics Engineer with experience in Product Development, New Product Introduction (NPI) and Industrialization.

The candidate will be responsible for supporting the transition of newly developed products from the development stage to manufacturing and series production, while working closely with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical understanding along with the ability to coordinate projects across R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and Quality functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support industrialization and NPI projects related to electrical/electronic products and components.
• Act as a Sub-Project Lead for transferring newly developed products from concept/development stage to series production.
• Coordinate with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality and other cross-functional stakeholders for successful project execution.
• Support product industrialization, manufacturing readiness and production launch activities.
• Support COGM and product cost calculations and identify opportunities for cost optimization.
• Drive/support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support Value Analysis / Value Engineering (VA/VE) activities.
• Support Make-or-Buy decisions, component localization and supplier-related industrialization activities.
• Coordinate phase-in / phase-out activities at component level.
• Follow up on PLM workflows, engineering changes, project milestones and documentation.
• Identify industrialization risks and coordinate with relevant functions for timely resolution.
• Support smooth transition of products from R&D/development to manufacturing and series production.
• Contribute to improvement of manufacturing processes, product cost, quality and industrialization efficiency.
• Ensure timely completion of project milestones in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Desired Candidate Profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
• 510 years of experience in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, R&D, Product Development, NPI or Industrialization.
• Strong experience in project management and cross-functional project execution.
• Hands-on experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) or product industrialization.
• Experience in transferring products from development/concept stage to manufacturing/series production.
• Good understanding of electrical/electronic products and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Procurement and Quality teams.
• Exposure to cost reduction, VA/VE, localization or Make-or-Buy activities will be preferred.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, stakeholder management and project coordination skills.
• Experience working in a global/international engineering environment will be an advantage.
