Industrial Engineer for EV Charger Manufacturing

Overview
The industrial engineer will analyze existing manufacturing workflows, develop new processes, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable practices that align with the company’s objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset combined with practical engineering skills, pivotal in driving operational excellence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
  2. Develop and implement lean manufacturing strategies to improve efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of EV chargers.
  4. Perform capacity planning and resource allocation to meet production goals.
  5. Conduct time studies and process modeling to enhance workflow.
  6. Utilize statistical methods for quality control and process monitoring.
  7. Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies.
  8. Create and maintain technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  9. Lead cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects.
  10. Facilitate training programs for staff on new processes and tools.
  11. Collaborate with suppliers to optimize component selection and quality.
  12. Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  13. Monitor KPI performance and report on manufacturing efficiency metrics.
  14. Identify and mitigate production risks proactively.
  15. Support the scaling of production lines to meet increasing demand.

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics or automotive sectors.
  3. Familiarity with EV charging technology and market trends.
  4. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Understanding of safety standards in manufacturing.
