Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs is hiring an Industrial Engineer to design efficient workshop layouts with AutoCAD, analyze cycle times, capacities, and cost data to optimize production. The role emphasizes safety, productivity, and lean practices in a manufacturing setting.

You will coordinate cross‑functional projects with teams in China and the US, train operators on IE principles, and drive continuous improvements in productivity and quality through data‑driven analysis and hands‑on leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 1+ years of AutoCAD experience.
• 1+ years as Industrial Engineer in manufacturing; familiarity with PV/semiconductor/electronic layouts, cost reduction and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create and update workshop layouts using AutoCAD to boost productivity and safety.
• Analyze cycle times, capacities, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Perform cost analyses and ensure alignment with budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects between Chinese and US teams for design proposals.
• Train operators on IE principles, lean manufacturing, and best practices to improve productivity and quality.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD to create and update efficient workshop layouts that enhance productivity and safety.
• Analyze and calculate cycle times, standard production capacities, and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Conduct cost analysis for various projects and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects, facilitating communication between Chinese and US teams to drive design proposals and production improvements.
• Train operators and line leaders on Industrial Engineering principles, lean manufacturing techniques, and best practices to improve productivity and quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineer, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience AutoCAD
• 1+ years working experience as an Industrial Engineer for a manufacturing company, preferably in a solar/semiconductor/electronic manufacturing company. § Familiarity with the manufacturing technique and manufacturing process of photovoltaic, electronic and other industries, and has relevant experience of layout planning, reduce cost and increase efficiency
• Outstanding analytical ability and adaptability
• Able to communicate in Mandarin Chinese and English
• Ability to with work under pressure and within tight deadlines
