Job summary

Talent Corner Hr Services is seeking a senior Industrial Designer to lead the design team in Gurugram, overseeing multiple projects and ensuring timely delivery within budget. You will translate client requirements into practical product designs and collaborate with product, engineering and marketing teams.

The role requires guiding prototyping, maintaining design quality, and mentoring junior designers while keeping up with industry trends and documents progress for leadership review.

Qualifications

• M.Des in Product Design / Industrial Design from a reputed design institute.
• 5–8 years of experience in Industrial/Product Design in a design consultancy or corporate environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with SolidWorks and 3D design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and guide the Industrial Design team and manage the overall design function.
• Handle multiple design projects and ensure they are completed on time and within budget.
• Understand client requirements and convert them into creative and practical product design concepts.
• Work closely with product, engineering and marketing teams to deliver the required designs.
• Manage the development of prototypes and mock-ups and improve designs based on feedback.
• Communicate with clients, understand their requirements and maintain good working relationships.
• Ensure design quality and maintain consistent design standards across projects.
• Keep the team updated on the latest design trends, materials, technologies and industry developments.
• Maintain proper project documentation and regularly update the Studio Head on project progress.
• Take complete ownership of assigned projects and ensure smooth execution.
