Job summary

Hamilton Housewares (Milton) in Mumbai seeks an experienced product/industrial designer to shape physical form and aesthetics of plastics products. You will create detailed 3D models and renders using SolidWorks and KeyShot, and translate concepts into compelling presentations with MS Office and Adobe tools.

Collaborate across teams to ensure manufacturability from concept to production. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s in relevant design fields, 3+ years’ experience, strong visualization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial design, product design, mechanical engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in product/industrial design.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and 3D rendering tools.
• Strong visualization, ideation, and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Translate ideas into compelling presentations using MS Office, Adobe Illustrator/CorelDraw, and Photoshop.

• Work on plastic product design with a clear understanding of plastic engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Stay updated with market trends and emerging technologies to bring innovation into design.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously from concept to execution.
• Proficient in CAD tools, especially SolidWorks.
• Skilled in 3D rendering using KeyShot.
• Strong knowledge of plastic materials and manufacturing techniques.
• Experience with Autodesk Alias for concept modeling is a plus.
• Excellent visualization, ideation, and presentation skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
