Responsibilities

Develop innovative product concepts based on market trends and requirements.
Conduct user research and benchmarking to identify opportunities.
Create sketches, concept illustrations, mood boards, and design presentations.
Design products focusing on aesthetics, ergonomics, usability and UX.
Develop 3D CAD models using SolidWorks.
Create realistic renderings using KeyShot/SolidWorks Visualize/Blender/V-Ray.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure manufacturability and production-readiness.
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback.
Select CMF elements aligned with brand identity.
Coordinate prototype development and validation activities.
Ensure DFMA/DFM compliance and quality standards.
Prepare product presentations for stakeholders and management.
Stay updated on global design trends and materials.

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Industrial Designer to join our Product Development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming market insights and customer needs into innovative, aesthetically appealing, and user-centric product concepts. The role requires expertise in concept development, industrial design, 3D modelling, rendering, prototyping, and close collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver commercially successful products.

Key Responsibilities

Develop innovative product concepts based on market trends, customer insights, and business requirements.
Conduct user research, competitive benchmarking, and market analysis to identify product opportunities.
Create sketches, concept illustrations, mood boards, and design presentations.
Design products with a strong focus on aesthetics, ergonomics, usability, and user experience.
Develop high-quality 3D CAD models using SolidWorks.
Create realistic product renderings using KeyShot, SolidWorks Visualize, Blender, or V-Ray.
Collaborate with Product Design Engineers to ensure designs are manufacturable and production-ready.
Participate in design reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback into product designs.
Select appropriate colours, materials, and finishes (CMF) aligned with brand identity and customer expectations.
Coordinate prototype development and support design validation activities.
Ensure designs comply with Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and quality standards.
Prepare product presentations for internal stakeholders and management.
Stay updated on global design trends, emerging materials, manufacturing technologies, and consumer preferences.
Support cross-functional teams during product development and new product introduction.
