Job summary

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) in India is building a world-class semiconductor ecosystem and seeks a sourcing professional to identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for indirect services, including admin functions. You will prioritize cost, quality, service delivery and compliance to support on-time materials and operations.

The role covers RFIs/RFQs, NDA and contract terms, cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Finance, Quality and Engineering, and ongoing supplier governance

Qualifications

• Experience in identification, evaluation and selection of suppliers for indirect services.
• Knowledge of RFIs/RFQs, supplier vetting and NDA/ contract terms.
• Ability to drive cost reductions and supplier consolidation while ensuring compliance and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFI/RFQ processes and supplier selection.
• Negotiate terms including price, payment terms and NDA in collaboration with Legal, Finance and Quality.
• Establish contracts and manage supplier performance governance.
• Develop marketplace insights to benchmark prices and industry trends.
• Identify and implement contingency plans and risk mitigation strategies.

Job Description:

Experience in identification (Sourcing), evaluation and selection of Suppliers for Indirect Services, like Admin services (IFM, Food, Transport, Security, Creche, OHC etc.,) professional services. The candidate could also be aware of Waste and scrap management processes as well along with compliance based on the Cost, Quality, service delivery, support, availability, reliability with supplier's reputation, performance & financial history etc.,

The position will be responsible for RFI, RFQ, Supplier identification & selection, Negotiation & establish Contract including NDA, Price, Payment terms etc., in collaboration with Cross function team / stake holders of User function, Legal, Finance, Quality & Engineering for on time delivery of materials.

Develop relationships in the marketplace to understand and stay abreast of industry changes / Price Bench marking etc.,

Operational / Process compliance /Quality:

Supplier relationship management

to enhance the performance standards like, Quality, Cost, service delivery, payment terms, Warranty support, compliance etc., by establishing strong supplier governance and provide feedback

Identify the Risk and implement Contingency plans & strategy

in the event of primary service providers are unable to perform the service delivery as required. (i.e., Multiple / Alternate Back up Suppliers)

Ensure our Sourcing process are, in compliance with laws & regulations like Safety certifications also in line with our internal policies & procedures as defined and approved by our customers.

Cost Management (TCM)

Spend Analysis, Monitor and report the trends of cost and drive Joint improvement initiatives of Cost reduction thru negotiation, alternate, Should-Cost, Supplier consolidation etc.,

Identify the opportunities to improve the cash flow thru better Payment terms (DPO) including the customer approved suppliers.

Provide feedback to senior level representatives of service providers performance on quality and delivery performance to assure continuous improvement in those areas.

Qualification / Experience:

Any Bachelor’s degree / Postgraduate with 10 to15 years of strong Indirect Source to pay experience in EMS, ODM Manufacturing industry with ERP experience is essential

Very good knowledge in MS Excel / Power Point / Word / Project mgmt. is preferred
