Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as application lead for a team of 10-15 engineers in resolving complex technical issues.
• Manage SLA and client relationships for Ops scope.
• Work in a 12/7 or high-availability production support environment for stability and performance.
• Troubleshoot application, database, ETL/SQL performance issues.
• Own incident management, RCA, preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop, review, and optimize SQL queries, scripts, and data workflows.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot production incidents, and drive service improvements.
• Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.

We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead (Individual Contributor) with experience supporting and guiding a team of 1015 engineers by solving complex technical challenges in a production support environment. The ideal candidate should be proactive in identifying opportunities for performance optimization, automation, and operational excellence across data and application platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the application lead, supporting a team of 10-15 members in resolving complex technical issues.
• Manage SLA and Client relationship for Ops scope
• Work in a 12/7 or high-availability production support environment, ensuring platform stability, scalability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot application, database, ETL/SQL performance issues.
• Own incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), preventive actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop, review, and optimize SQL queries, scripts, and data processing workflows.
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot production incidents, and drive service improvements.
• Lead automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7-10 years of overall experience in software engineering, technical support, data engineering, or platform operations.
• Strong communication and ability to lead calls, Incident/RCA discussion, Improvement plan
• Experience supporting or guiding a team of 8-10 engineers on technical problem-solving
• Strong expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS/ ETL, including production support and troubleshooting.
• Excellent SQL skills with the ability to write, review, and optimize complex queries.
• Hands-on experience working in a production support, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• Ability to drive technical improvements and automation initiatives independently.
