Job summary

FedEx Asia Pacific is hiring an Apprentice in People Operations to support recruitment coordination, onboarding, lifecycle activities, and HR data management. You will assist in maintaining HR information in HR systems and coordinate attendance, leaves, and payroll data validation.

Ideal candidates have a graduate degree, basic HR knowledge, and good English communication. Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with discretion. End date 31 December 2026.

INC040: Apprentice, People Operations

PRINCIPLE DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support recruitment coordination, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and recruitment tracker updates.
• Assist with onboarding and joining formalities for new employees, including document collection and verification.
• Support employee lifecycle activities such as changes in employee details, and separation documentation.
• Assist in maintaining and updating employee information on Workday and other HR systems.
• Support attendance, leave, and payroll-related data validation and coordination with relevant teams.
• Assist with employee benefits and insurance administration, including enrollment coordination and maintaining related records.
• Support statutory compliance activities by maintaining documentation and assisting with the preparation of reports and records.
• Help prepare HR reports, trackers, presentations, and other People Operations-related documents.
• Coordinate with employees, managers, and internal stakeholders to address routine HR queries and follow up on pending requirements.
• Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and other HR initiatives, as required.
• Maintain the confidentiality of employee information and ensure the secure handling of HR records.
• Perform additional People Operations tasks as assigned by the team.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE

• Academic: Graduate in any discipline; a qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferable.
• Experience & knowledge: Basic understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle activities is an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness to learn HR systems, processes, and applicable statutory requirements.
• Attribute: Hardworking and willing to learn.
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
