Job summary

Bosch is seeking an experienced Inbound Logistics Supervisor in Nashik district, India. You will organize and oversee the receipt, storage and movement of raw materials, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure material availability and optimal stock levels.

You will lead a small team, ensure compliance with internal procedures and local laws, and continuously improve logistics processes using SAP and BI tools.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical or industrial production) or Commerce.
• 3+ years experience in inbound logistics and stores management.
• Advanced knowledge of SAP warehouse, MM and SD modules; proficiency with IT tools like InTrack, EMR, CELONIS, RBIN gate pass and Power BI.

• Lead inbound logistics and store management operations.
• Organize and coordinate raw material collection and storage with suppliers.
• Optimize milk run routes and ensure timely material receipt.

Job Description

Purpose

The purpose of this position is to supervise and organize the activities in inbound area of physical logistics to ensure timely collection of material from business partners, goods receipt and storage of raw material.

• Logistics Management

Organize and notify collection of raw materials through external milk run from suppliers, receive and store raw materials from suppliers

Optimizing external milk run routes to reduce CO2 emissions

• Store Management

Ensure storage of all direct materials as per standards (safe and secure storage), report and act on blocked stocks

Leadtime optimization for intermediate operations.

• People Management

Supervise logistics operations compliant with internal procedures and work instructions, central directives for operations

Employee satisfaction index

• Escalation Management

Escalate physical logistics (inbound) and material delivery topics to leadership team (ss per escalation matrix) to seek appropriate management intervention delivery of materials

On time intervention and resolution of escalated topics

• Compliance Management

Manage commercial processes to be legally compliant with internal guidelines Viz: OMP (Bosch India) central directives and external laws namely foreign trade customs and taxation laws

Adhering to standards and no deviations in Audits
