Job summary

Bosch India in Karnataka seeks a Stores management and despatch professional to organize outbound logistics and secure timely delivery of finished goods to customers and warehouses. You will oversee storage, documentation, and compliance across the dispatch chain.

The role requires 5+ years in outbound logistics, SAP experience, and strong communication. On-site work at the Bidadi plant with a focus on process improvement and team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial production engineering.
• 5+ years experience in outbound logistics and stores management.
• Competent knowledge in SAP - Warehouse, production planning, MM and SD.
• Proficient in IT tools like InTrack, RBIN gate pass and Power BI reports.
• Knowledge of GST, export guidelines, safety topics, CL management & insurance.
• Expert in material flow, warehouse control, storage & handling norms.
• Knowledge on LMM, BPS, Warehouse KPIs, Inventory management, JIT, Lean Manufacturing.
• Competent in warehouse & Transportation Management, warehouse productivity.
• Strong communication skills in English and local language, conflict management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure outbound logistics meet despatch standards and timely collection.
• Adhere to standards for dispatches to customers/warehouses.
• Prepare and secure legal documents for pre- and post documentation processes.
• Store FG materials per standards and address blocked stocks.
• Drive process optimization and productivity improvements in logistics.
• Escalate issues per matrix to leadership for timely resolution.
• Organize logistics competency training and staff capability development.
• Ensure compliance with internal directives and external laws.

Job Description

Job title: Stores management and despatch

Objective : The purpose of this position is to organize & conduct operations in outbound area of physical logistics to enable timely collection of Finished goods from MOE and finished manufactured goods externally to customers / warehouses.

Logistics Management

Adapt and meet logistics specific standards, processes, and systems within Outbound Physical logistics to fulfil despatch requests to customers on time.

Preparation and secure storage of legal documents for both pre and post documentation processes.

KRA : Window time adherence for dispatches to customers / warehouses.

Store Management

Storage of all FG materials as per standards (safe and secure storage).

Report and act on Blocked stocks

KRA: Logistics quality incidents YoY.

Physical Logistics

Participate and liaise logistics operations compliant with internal guidelines viz.

OMP ( Bosch India)/ PS Processes & methods , Central directives for Operations ,safe and secure storage of all Finished goods.

KRA: Process optimization & productivity improvement.

Escalation Management

Notify and report physical logistics (Outbound) and material delivery topics to leadership team (As per escalation matrix) to seek appropriate management intervention wrt Finished goods handling.

KRA: On time intervention and resolution of escalated topics

People Management

Organize the Logistics competency requirements training for the basis current and future trends and direct employee capability development accordingly

KRA: Employee satisfaction index

Compliance Management

Manage commercial processes to be legally compliant with Internal Guidelines Viz: OMP (Bosch India) Central Directives and external laws namely Foreign trade Customs and taxation laws.

KRA: Adhering to standards and no deviations in Audit
