Job summary

Bosch Rexroth India Private Limited is seeking a capable professional to lead Shared Material Planning and LOG Supplier Management at Ahmedabad. You will drive long-term material planning, negotiate with suppliers, and manage escalation for delivery issues, ensuring KPI targets are met.

The role requires 5+ years of leadership, a Bachelor degree in Mechanical/Logistics, strong SAP MM/MRP knowledge, and CIP thinking, with excellent English communication.

Qualifications

• Team leading skills and minimum 5 years of team leading experience
• Bachelor degree, Major in Mechanical, Trading or Logistic preferred
• Profound knowledge and experience in MRP II/SAP, MM. lean logistic, Pull System (incl. Kanban and Supermarket)
• Familiar with MS OFFICE, good at PC skill and good knowledge in SAP material planning
• Logical and Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) thinking
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Open personality, team spirit and active communication skills
• Honest, responsibility, able to work under pressure
• Problem analytical skill and problem solving
• Relevant working experience incl. production or project management preferred
• German language skills would an advantage, but are not a mandatory requirement.

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing operative team of Shared Material Planning and LOG Supplier Mgt. at Ahmedabad.
• Set up long term material plan according to market FC/consumption/capacity; negotiate with suppliers for material prep and capacity.
• Escalation management for supplier delivery issues (second level).
• Responsible for KPIs and targets defined by DC-MH Central Logistics.
• Lead material projects to optimize supply chain and improve supplier delivery performance.
• Supplier management; annual logistics agreements, consignment stock, SA, LT, EDI, TLV, supplier evaluation.
