PwC Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned Performance Testing Manager to lead quality engineering across software development and testing. You will drive defect resolution, performance optimisation, and user experience enhancements while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client needs.

The role requires 8-10 years of experience in performance testing, strong tooling proficiency, and knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Waterfall, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
Proficiency with at least one major performance testing tool (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling).
Experience with scripting languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, Shell) for test automation.
Solid understanding of system architecture, HTTP/S, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and OSs (Linux/Windows).
Experience with performance monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics).
Ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and draw conclusions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) is a plus.

Ability to analyze and interpret complex performance data, identify trends, and draw meaningful conclusions.
