Job summary

PwC Bengaluru is seeking an Associate-level software tester to contribute to Banking and Payments testing, API validation, and end-to-end quality assurance. You will perform Functional, Integration, Regression, UAT and End-to-End testing for Banking and Payments applications, validate APIs using Postman and Kibana, and execute SQL data validation.

Collaborating with business, development and product teams, you will help deliver high-quality releases and support digital transformation initiatives

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of software testing experience in Banking and Payments.
• Experience with API testing using Postman and SQL validation.
• Knowledge of Oracle FLEXCUBE or similar Core Banking platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, UAT, and End-to-End testing for Banking and Payments applications.
• Validate APIs, payment transactions, and middleware integrations using Postman and Kibana.
• Execute backend data validation using SQL queries and ensure transaction data integrity.
• Create and execute test cases based on business and functional requirements.
• Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA.
• Collaborate with business, development, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

• Banking & Payments Testing (Transaction Banking, SWIFT, VAM, Loans, CASA).
• API Testing (Postman).
• SQL Database Validation.
• JIRA, Zephyr, Kibana.
• UAT, Regression, Integration, and End-to-End Testing.
• Knowledge of Oracle FLEXCUBE or other Core Banking platforms.

Preferred skill sets:

• Exposure to API Automation (Rest Assured).
• Basic Selenium Automation knowledge.
• ISTQB Certification.
