Legal Solutions Group in Kochi, Kerala seeks an experienced In-House Counsel to manage corporate legal matters, IP filings, and international compliance across India, the US, and UK/Europe. The role reports to the CEO and offers growth toward General Counsel while based in Kochi.

The candidate should have LLB or LLM with at least 5 years PQE, and be prepared for part-time hours with some EU/US time zone overlap.

Contextual Overview

Legal Solutions Group is seeking an experienced In-House Counsel to join their team in Kochi, Kerala. Reporting directly to the CEO, the selected candidate will handle corporate legal matters, intellectual property filings, and international compliance across India, the US, and the UK/Europe, with opportunities to grow into a General Counsel role.

Key Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: LL.B or LL.M degree with a strong academic record.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of Post Qualification Experience (PQE) in corporate legal matters.
• Technical Skills: Experience in filing trademarks, copyrights, and patents. Familiarity with online communication tools (Zoom/GoToMeeting) and Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work

• Advise and carry out duties including filing for trademarks, copyrights, and patents on various company products.
• Advise the board on specific legal matters related to client engagements, due diligence, and compliance matters in India, the US, and UK/Europe.
• Engage with the senior management team to help grow and scale the expanding technology business.
• Work during some EU and US time zone hours while being based out of the Kochi office on a part-time basis.

Stipend, Compensation & Mode

• Mode: Part-time, based at the Kochi office with required flexibility for EU and US time zones.
