Job summary

Mobolutions is seeking an in-house lawyer to draft and review contracts and a variety of corporate agreements for the IT/tech sector. You will support business partners across divisions, identify legal risks, and help implement compliance programs for the General Counsel.

The role requires 1–2 years of in-house experience, strong knowledge of general, corporate, commercial and labor law, and excellent English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts/Law or Master of Arts/Law degree with admission to practice.
• 1–2 years of in-house legal experience in IT or tech companies is required.
• Solid knowledge of General, Corporate, Commercial, and Labor Law.
• Understanding IT or data privacy is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and writing skills in English; other languages are a plus.

Detailed description of the position

• Experienced in drafting and reviewing contracts and corporate law.
  
• A variety of commercial agreements are drafted, including NDA/MSA, letters of intent, terms sheets, distribution agreements, commission agreements, and international buy and sell agreements.
  
• Assist business partners from all divisions of the company with legal issues.
  
• Analyze and identify legal risks and implications of each division, applicable regulations, and formulate and implement a compliance program and processes to ensure compliance for the General Counsel.
  
• Preparation of all corporate compliance documents & agreements.
  
• Developing negotiation guidelines, ready-to-use standard contracts, and relevant processes for contract negotiation and execution.
  
• Digitization of contract management, e-confirmations, and entity management.
  
• Directly reporting to the Management team in USA & India, this role will be responsible for legal matters for both India & US regions.
  

Minimum requirements

• BA. LLB or MA. LLB
  
• The candidate should have between 1-2 years' experience as an in-house lawyer in an IT company or in any other tech company.
  
• Should have a solid knowledge of General Law, Corporate Law, Commercial Law, and Labor Law.
  
• It would be beneficial to have an understanding of IT or data privacy.
  
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  
• Communication and interpersonal skills are excellent.
  
• Excellent communication and writing skills in English. Knowledge of other languages would be an added advantage.
  
• Working under pressure and meeting deadlines is a strength.
  
• An innovative and creative thinker with a quick learning curve.
  
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
