Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking an Implementation Engineer, Staff in Bangalore to lead a team focused on Display Sub-System implementation. You will work across tools for synthesis, timing closure, and low-power design, coordinating with PD/DFT teams to deliver high-quality netlists on time.

The role expects strong expertise in physical synthesis, UPF-based power optimization, and scripting with TCL/Python/Perl.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/EE with 4+ years hardware experience, or higher degrees with related work.
• Strong knowledge of physical synthesis and timing closure methodologies.
• Experience with UPF-based low-power design and power integrity.
• Experience in timing closure for multi-clock domain designs
• Familiar with low-power design using UPF
• Scripting in Perl, Python, or TCL for flows
• Experience with ECOs, formal verification, netlist delivery

Responsibilities

• Synthesis, LEC, Low power checks, Memory BIST insertion, Constraints validation.
• Development of signoff quality constraints and power intent constraints.
• TCL scripting for automation and debugging of complex blocks.
• Hands-on with Synopsys DCG/Genus/Fusion Compiler and Cadence Conformal tools.
• Coordinate with DFT and PD teams to achieve timing closure
