Job summary

Vibehackers is hiring an AI-Native Engineer to build AI agents, automation workflows, and RAG-powered applications for fintech products and internal teams. You will implement LLM integrations, tool calling, and structured outputs across banking, payments, KYC/KYB, and internal developer workflows.

You will collaborate with product, engineering, design, and compliance to deliver robust, observable AI-driven capabilities and responsible release processes.

Qualifications

• Strong programming fundamentals, preferably in Python.
• Understanding of LLMs, generative AI, prompt engineering, function/tool calling, and agentic workflows.
• Experience or understanding of RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, Git, SQL, and basic backend development.
• Understanding of authentication and authorization.
• Ability to write basic unit and integration tests.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and rapid learning skills.

Responsibilities

• Build AI assistants, agents, and automation workflows that retrieve information, reason about tasks, and securely call tools and APIs.

• Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) applications using product documentation, policies, and company knowledge.
• Create internal AI tools for code review, documentation, debugging and test generation, QA and regression testing, infrastructure and DevOps support, customer support, business operations, and reporting.
• Automate workflows such as support triage, onboarding, reconciliation, and partner integrations.
• Implement AI evaluation, monitoring, guardrails, audit logs, and human-approval workflows.
• Research new AI models and agent frameworks and convert ideas into working products.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, designers, testers, compliance, and operations teams.

Who we’re looking for

Early-career engineers (freshers and those with ~2 years’ experience) from AI/ML, Computer Science, or IT backgrounds with practical AI project experience (academic, internship, hackathon, or open-source). This is an application/integration-focused role, not ML research.
