Job summary

MATRIX COMSEC in Vadodara, Gujarat, is seeking Engineer/Sr. Engineer - Mechanical Design to join the Mechanical Community Team. The role requires 1+ year experience and BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.

You will contribute to full product development, work with sheet metal, plastics, die casting and electronics enclosures, and apply CAD tools such as Solid Edge or Creo. Familiarity with PLM (Teamcenter) is a bonus. This is an office-based position with five working days.

Qualifications

• Must have full New product development cycle experience.
• At least 1+ years developing engineering design concepts for mechanical assemblies.
• Experience in sheet metal, plastics injection molding, tool trials, mold maintenance and mold flow analyses.
• Experience in pressure die-casting and designing die cast components.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes for plastic and metal components for handheld consumer electronics.
• Experience with risk analysis using DFMEA, DFA, PFMEA.
• Experience in design/development of consumer electronics devices and related processes.
• Exposure to PLM Teamcenter etc.
• Strong CAD skills with 3D modeling, tolerances and stack-up analysis (Solid Edge/Creo).
• Knowledge of thermal engineering, optics and electro-mechanical components.
• Knowledge of electronic enclosure standards (CE, FCC, BIS, NEMA, military grade).

We are looking for dynamic individuals to join our Mechanical Community Team who can contribute to our ever-growing R&D environment in our company MATRIX COMSEC Company based out at Vadodara, Gujarat.

Designation : Engineer/Sr. Engineer - Mechanical Design

Experience : 1+ Years

Qualification : B.E/B.tech/M.E/M.tech (in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed Institution/University or Post Graduation from IGTR, CIPET, German Tool Room engineering or Plastic Engineering)

Location : Vadodara, Gujarat.

Must be ready to Work From the Office

Desired Skill Characteristics:

• Must have practical experience in full New product development cycle.
• At least 1+ years of experience in developing engineering design concepts for components and electromechanical assemblies that has demanding requirements for thermal dissipation, precision, reliability, manufacturability and cost.
• Experience in Sheet Metal, Plastics Injection molding, tool trials, Mold maintenance, Mold flow analyses & related process parameter understanding.
• Experience and knowledge in pressure die-casting process & designing Die casted components
• Good knowledge of various manufacturing process with extensive experience manufacturing of plastic components and metal components for hand held consumer electronic devices.
• Experience in carrying out Risk Analysis activities using established Risk analysis tools like DFMEA, DFA, PFMEA.
• Experience in design and development of consumer electronics devices and related processes.
• Exposure to PLM Team centre etc.
• Strong CAD skills (Solid Edge/Creo) including 3D model design, tolerance specifications and tolerance stack up analysis .
• Knowledge/exposure to thermal engineering, Optics & electro mechanical components.
• Knowledge in electronic enclosure compliances like CE, FCC, BIS, NEMA & Military grade
