Job summary

STYLI in Bengaluru is seeking an Image QC Specialist to ensure all visual content meets brand standards before going live. You will review product imagery, verify accuracy against descriptions, and coordinate with photographers and retouchers to maintain a seamless shopping experience.

You’ll work in a fast-paced studio, maintain a QC tracker, and propose improvements to the image pipeline while meeting deadlines without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• Review product images for quality, consistency, and accuracy before publishing.
• Ensure alignment with brand guidelines on framing, lighting, and styling.
• Cross-check images with product descriptions and notes to ensure correct items.
• Maintain a QC tracker and provide feedback for retouch or reshoot.
• Coordinate with photographers and content teams to resolve QC issues promptly.

• Identify issues such as incorrect color tone, pixelation, blur, distortion, or inconsistent backgrounds.
• Cross-check images against product descriptions and sample codes to ensure correct items are represented.
• Approve or reject images in DAM or CMS, with feedback for retouch or reshoot.
• Coordinate with photographers, stylists, retouchers, and content teams to resolve QC issues promptly.
• Maintain a QC tracker to log errors, feedback, and image status.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance the image pipeline and reduce rework.
• Ensure deadlines are met without compromising visual standards.

The Image QC Specialist is responsible for reviewing, validating, and ensuring all visual content meets brand standards before going live. This role ensures high-quality and consistent product imagery across the platform, contributing to a seamless and professional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review product images (still, on-model, flat lays, ghost mannequin) for quality, consistency, and accuracy before publishing.
• Check for alignment with brand and marketplace guidelines regarding framing, lighting, angles, styling, and retouching.
• Identify and flag issues such as incorrect color tone, pixelation, blur, distortion, or inconsistent backgrounds.
• Cross-check images against product descriptions, sample codes, and styling notes to ensure the correct items are represented.
• Approve or reject images in the DAM (Digital Asset Management) or content management systems, with proper feedback for retouch or reshoot.
• Coordinate with photographers, stylists, retouchers, and content teams to resolve QC issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain a QC tracker to log errors, feedback, and image status for transparency and reporting.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance the image pipeline and reduce rework.
• Ensure deadlines are met without compromising on visual standards.

Key Skills

• Strong eye for visual detail and aesthetic quality
• Good understanding of photography and post-production standards
• Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Bridge, or similar tools is a plus
• Experience with digital asset management
• Excellent communication and feedback-sharing skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven studio environment
