STRI Consulting in Chennai seeks an experienced Digital Imaging Manager to lead our in-house product photography and imaging function. • 7–10 years of experience in product photography or e-commerce imaging.
• Prior cosmetics/beauty/FMCG photography experience preferred.
• Degree or diploma in Photography, Visual Arts, Design or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead high-volume packshot photography for cosmetic and beauty products.
• Ensure lighting, color accuracy, reflections, styling and finish align with brand guidelines.
• Oversee product preparation, shot lists, framing, angles and output specs for multiple platforms.
• Drive efficient photography workflows using Orbitvu Alphashot systems.
• Build, mentor and manage an in-house team of Photographers, Retouchers and Image Editors.
• Define retouching standards for skin tones, textures, labels, packaging accuracy and realism.
• Oversee post-production workflows including colour correction, masking, clipping paths, and optimisations.
• Ensure images meet technical and aesthetic requirements of global platforms (Amazon, Sephora, Nykaa, etc.).
• Recruit, train and scale the imaging team; maintain SOPs, workflows, quality checkpoints and delivery timelines.
• Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, E-commerce and Brand teams; act as primary contact with Global Teams.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experiencedDigital Imaging Manager to lead our in-house product photography and imagingfunction. The ideal candidate is bothhands-on and strategic, with strong technical expertise in product photography,a sharp eye for detail and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with GlobalTeams to deliver consistent, high-quality visuals across all digital ande-commerce platforms—on time, every time.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Photography & Imaging

• Lead and execute high-volumepackshot photography for cosmetic and beauty products.
• Ensure consistent lighting,colour accuracy, reflections, styling and finish in line with brandguidelines.
• Oversee productpreparation, shot lists, framing, angles and output specifications formultiple e-commerce platforms.
• Drive efficientphotography workflows using Orbitvu Alphashot systems.
• Stay updated withtrends and best practices in beauty and cosmetic product photography.

Image Processing & Retouching

• Build, mentor andmanage an in-house team of Photographers, Retouchers and Image Editors.
• Define, document and enforce retouching standards for skin tones, textures, labels,packaging accuracy and realism.
• Oversee post-productionworkflows including colour correction, masking, clipping paths,clean-ups and optimisation.
• Ensure all images meetthe technical and aesthetic requirements of global e-commerceplatforms such as Amazon, Sephora, Tira, Nykaa, DTC websites and othermarketplaces.

Team Leadership & Operations

• Recruit, train andscale the photography and image processing team.
• Define and maintain SOPs,workflows, quality checkpoints and delivery timelines.
• Manage daily studiooperations including capacity planning, workload allocation andproductivity tracking.
• Collaborate closelywith Creative, Marketing, E-commerce and Brand teams to alignimaging output with business goals.
• Act as the primarypoint of contact for all photography and imaging-related coordinationwith Global Teams.
• Communicate effectivelyacross time zones to ensure smooth execution, feedback andapprovals.
• Proactively identifyrisks, manage dependencies and ensure timelines are met withoutcompromising quality.

Quality Control & Brand Consistency

• Own final imageapprovals before release across global platforms.
• Maintain strong visualconsistency across SKUs, categories, campaigns and markets.
• Continuously improve imagequality, turnaround time, scalability and cost efficiency.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Skills

• Strong hands-onexperience with Orbitvu packshot systems (mandatory).
• Proven expertise in productphotography, preferably in cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop mandatory).
• Strong understanding of colour management, calibration and image accuracy.
• Experience handling high-volumee-commerce image production.

Tools & Software

• Orbitvu systems (Alphashot,Photoshoot, Station)
• Colour calibrationtools (X-Rite, Datacolor, or equivalent)
• Digital AssetManagement systems (preferred)
• Project managementtools (Asana or similar)

• Proven experienceleading and scaling photography and post-production teams.

Experience & Education:
