Job summary

HypTechie is seeking an Ignition SCADA Architect/Lead in India to design, configure and deploy Ignition SCADA and MES applications. You will architect real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting while integrating OT systems with ERP, databases, and cloud.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in SCADA/MES engineering for manufacturing.
• Proven Ignition SCADA (Inductive Automation) expertise.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and HMI.
• Proficiency in SQL-based databases and historians.
• Experience with OT–IT integration technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Ignition SCADA and MES applications.
• Architect real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting solutions.
• Integrate OT systems with enterprise IT systems (ERP, databases, cloud).
• Develop secure and efficient data exchange using REST APIs, MQTT, and OPC UA.
• Manage and optimize industrial databases and historians for high availability and performance.
• Support MES functionalities such as production tracking, OEE, downtime analysis, SPC, and traceability.
• Troubleshoot and optimize existing SCADA/MES deployments to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align systems with business and production goals.
• Provide technical leadership for digital transformation and Industry 4.0 initiatives.

• Proven hands–on expertise with Ignition SCADA (Inductive Automation)


• Strong understanding of industrial control systems (PLC, SCADA, HMI)


• Proficiency in SQL-based databases and historians


• Hands–on experience with OT–IT integration technologies


• Excellent problem–solving, communication, and collaboration skills

Good to Have
