Qualifications

• 10–15 years of SCADA/MES engineering in manufacturing.
• Mandatory Ignition SCADA experience, scripting and deployment.
• Deep MES knowledge: OEE, downtime, production tracking, SPC, traceability.
• Experience with SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL and industrial protocols.
• Familiarity with ISA-95/ISA-88/IEC 62443 standards.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end MES/SCADA architecture aligned with ISA-95.
• Lead OT-IT integration with ERP, PLC, SCADA via REST APIs, MQTT, OPC UA.
• Oversee deployment, rollout, and change management across plants.
• Architect real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring of engineering teams.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect specializing in MES, SCADA, ERP, and Ignition SCADA to lead digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will define end-to-end architecture, integrate OT-IT systems, streamline MES workflows aligned with ISA-95, and drive large-scale implementations across multiple plants. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and hands-on experience with Ignition, MES functions, databases, and industrial integration technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Requirement gathering, process mapping, and defining MES architecture aligned with ISA-95.
• Designing MES/SCADA solutions including production, quality, inventory, genealogy, and traceability workflows.
• Leading OT-IT integration with ERP, PLC, SCADA systems using REST APIs, MQTT, OPC UA.
• Overseeing deployment, rollout, documentation, training, and change management across plants.
• Architecting real-time data acquisition, visualization, and reporting systems.
• Providing technical leadership, troubleshooting, optimization, and mentoring engineering teams.

Additional Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end testing, UAT, and plant integration.
• Manage SQL/Time-series databases ensuring high performance and availability.
• Lead SCADA/MES enhancements, upgrades, and large-scale Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• Ensure cybersecurity best practices in OT environments.
• Support predictive analytics, cloud IoT integrations, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) where required.

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in SCADA/MES engineering within manufacturing industries.
• Mandatory expertise in Ignition SCADA (Inductive Automation) including scripting, configuration, and deployment.
• Strong knowledge of MES functions: OEE, downtime, production tracking, SPC, traceability, genealogy.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and industrial communication protocols.
• Familiarity with ISA-95, ISA-88, ISA-99/IEC 62443 standards.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
