ROLE : Ignition Developer

Roles & Responsibilities
Must Have
- BE/ B. Tech in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical or Equivalent Branches with minimum 3 years of experience on automated processes/system integration in Automotive, High Tech, Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Hands on experience in establishing communication channels with different plant data sources such as OPC-UA/DA, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, Profinet, Ethercat, MQTT. etc. to extract machine and process data
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate Ignition Software solutions with existing systems (ERP, MES) and databases (MySQL & MS SQL)
- Development & testing of Named queries, Transaction Groups
- Previous Working experience on creating Vision/Perspective screens and deploy multiple clients.
- Unify & Configure namespace and enable data transport from Gateway to cloud via IoT protocols (MQTT, AMQP, CoAP)
- Should have sound knowledge of Sparkplug B, ISA 95 standards.
- Writing efficient, maintainable, and scalable code in Python involving Gateway Scripts, Project Libraries and Tag On Change Scripts
- Should have created RESTful APIs, able to pull data from 3rd party services via this protocol & also serve data to other applications.
- To generate reports in PDF based on Shifts, Week & Month
- Should have experience on building application in Ignition
Nice to Have
- Building custom modules with Ignition SDK
- Hands on experience in any one of PTC Kepware, SAP and AWS IoT Services.
- Good understanding of common industrial data management methodologies such as historians (GE proficy, OSI PI etc.)
- Translating manufacturing functional requirements into technical solution architecture
- Author technical design documentation for the solutions Have a good understanding on AWS cloud services such as IoT Core, Lambda, DynamoDB, IoT Analytics & IoT Events.
- To read automation control systems documentation and drawings
- Diagnose automation problems and interact with teams, clients, contractors and vendors.
- Good to have some basic idea on Basic Data Analytics - Average, Max, Min.
