Job summary

Capgemini in Hyderabad seeks an experienced Ignition Technical Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of IIoT, SCADA, MES, and Digital Manufacturing solutions on the Ignition platform.

You will establish architecture standards, review designs and code for quality and scalability, mentor developers, conduct design reviews, and drive technical delivery with clients and project teams across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• 8-10 years of experience in Industrial Automation, SCADA, MES, or IIoT solutions.
• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with Ignition platform.
• Strong expertise in Ignition Perspective, Vision, Tag Historian, Alarming, Reporting, and Gateway configurations.
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle databases.
• Strong understanding of OPC-UA, MQTT, Modbus, and industrial communication protocols.
• Experience integrating with PLCs, SCADA, ERP, MES, and cloud platforms.
• Proven ability to independently drive technical delivery and mentor teams.

Required Qualifications
