Job summary

Virtusa seeks an experienced IBM i developer to design, implement, test, and maintain IBM i applications. You will work across the COBOL/400, RPGLE, CLLE stack and DB2 for i, delivering robust solutions in a collaborative Agile environment.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting. Prior experience with RDi, Git, and unit testing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM i (AS/400 / iSeries) development.
• Strong expertise in COBOL/400 (CBLLE), RPGLE, CLLE, DB2 for i (DB2400), SQLRPGLE, SQLCBLLE, Triggers, and Stored Procedures.
• Experience with Rational Developer for i (RDi), Git, Unit Testing, and Agile/Scrum development practices.
