Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru is seeking a DataStage Developer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience to design, develop, test and deploy IBM DataStage ETL solutions. The role requires strong SQL, data warehousing knowledge, and familiarity with Unix/Linux scripting and job scheduling tools.

You will translate business requirements into technical ETL designs, develop and maintain DataStage jobs, and ensure data quality across sources and targets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on DataStage development experience.
• Strong SQL and database skills.
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting and automation.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and data integration concepts.
• Knowledge of job scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, Tivoli).

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using IBM DataStage.

• Develop and maintain DataStage jobs, sequences, and routines.
• ETL data from source systems to data warehouses and reporting platforms.
• Perform data mapping, validation, and quality checks.
• Optimize ETL performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Work with Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2, and PostgreSQL.
• Create technical docs and deployment procedures; support releases.

DataStage Deveoper 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IBM DataStage Development. Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, Data Warehousing, and Data Integration. Experience with DataStage Designer, Director, Administrator, and QualityStage. Expertise in developing parallel and server jobs. Strong SQL and database skills. Experience with data modeling concepts and data migration projects. Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting. Understanding of job scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or Tivoli. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Certification in IBM DataStage is an added advantage.
