Job summary

Alten Group in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a hardware/design engineer with BE/BTech/MTech/MS in Electronics/Electrical or Telecommunication to lead hardware development. The role involves travel and onsite deputation within and outside India, and includes board bring up, testing, and coordination with PCB design teams.

You should have experience in Altium/Orcad, DDR interfaces, FPGA, analog/digital design, circuit simulation, and thermal management.

Qualifications

• Hardware design and high-speed digital design with latest microcontrollers and FPGA.
• DDR interface experience.
• Architecture, design and development of digital and analog designs.
• Schematic generation and BOM.
• Board testing and hardware testing.
• System-level testing and environmental testing per MIL-STD-810F / MIL-STD-461E.
• Circuit simulation and schematic design.
• Thermal management and board bring up.
• HW/SW integration testing and debugging.
• Coordination with PCB design team and knowledge of layout guidelines.
• Altium and Orcad knowledge.
