Job summary

CTAS is seeking a motivated HVAC Service Technician (Fresher) to join our service team in India. You will assist in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air conditioning and ventilation systems while learning industry best practices under guidance of senior technicians.

The role focuses on on-site field service, with freshers encouraged to apply and develop skills in servicing split ACs, VRF/VRV systems, AHUs, FCUs, and related equipment, while building customer relations.

Qualifications

• Freshers are welcome to apply.
• Educational qualification: ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Basic understanding of air conditioning and refrigeration principles.
• Willingness to learn and work in field service operations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Physical requirements: ability to work at customer sites and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians in servicing and maintenance of HVAC systems, including Split ACs, VRF/VRV systems, Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and Ventilation Systems.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance activities as per service schedules.
• Support troubleshooting and diagnosis of HVAC equipment faults.
• Clean filters, coils, drain lines, and other HVAC components.
• Assist in installation, testing, commissioning, and startup of HVAC equipment.
• Record service activities, observations, and maintenance reports accurately.
• Ensure proper handling and usage of tools, instruments, and safety equipment.
• Follow company safety procedures and industry standards at all times.
• Maintain good customer relations during site visits.
• Learn and develop technical skills through on-the-job training programs.
