Job summary

Highly Electrical Appliances India Pvt. Ltd. seeks an experienced HVAC Technician to maintain and troubleshoot complex HVAC systems including TFA, VRF, HAT/AHU, Split and Ductable units.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, monitor performance, and document all activities. The role requires ITI in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning with 5–7 years of industrial experience. Knowledge of safety and documentation is essential, with preference for candidates in manufacturing

Qualifications

• ITI qualification in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning required.
• 5–7 years of relevant industrial HVAC/utility maintenance experience.
• Experience in TFA, VRF, HAT/AHU, Split and Ductable AC systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial plant is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
• Diagnose and rectify refrigeration and control faults in HVAC systems.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for specialized HVAC repair and maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records, checklists and breakdown reports.

Job description

We are looking for an HVAC Technician who will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, and performance monitoring of HVAC and air-conditioning systems. The role involves carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance of TFA, VRF, HAT, Split and Ductable AC units, identifying and resolving refrigeration and control-related issues, ensuring efficient operation of equipment, and maintaining proper maintenance documentation.

Job Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of HVAC and air-conditioning systems.
• Handle maintenance and troubleshooting of various HVAC equipment, including:
  • TFA (Treated Fresh Air) Units
  • VRF/VRV Systems
  • HAT / AHU systems
  • Split Air Conditioners
  • Ductable Air-Conditioning Units
• Diagnose and rectify refrigeration and control-related faults in HVAC systems.
• Perform electrical/control troubleshooting related to HVAC equipment.
• Carry out repairing, testing, commissioning and performance checks of HVAC systems.
• Monitor and measure HVAC efficiency and performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Maintain adequate knowledge of HVAC spare parts, their specifications and replacement requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for specialized HVAC repair and maintenance activities, whenever required.
• Maintain proper maintenance records, checklists, breakdown reports and other relevant documentation.
• Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance schedules and minimize equipment downtime.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintenance standards while carrying out HVAC-related activities.
• Maintain housekeeping and ensure proper handling of tools, equipment and spare parts.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Good troubleshooting skills in refrigeration, controls and HVAC systems.
• Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC spares, tools and maintenance practices.
• Ability to read and understand basic HVAC/electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of testing, performance monitoring and efficiency measurement.
• Good documentation and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as with a maintenance team.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• ITI qualified in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning / HVAC.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant industrial experience in HVAC/utility maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in TFA, VRF, HAT/AHU, Split and Ductable AC systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial plant will be preferred.
