Job summary

BNE, a leading HVAC contracting and distribution company, seeks an HVAC Project Engineer to lead VRF projects from Bangalore. You will prepare solutions, drawings, and submittals; attend consultant/client meetings for approvals; and coordinate with design teams to ensure timely, on-budget project delivery.

The role calls for deep VRF systems knowledge, strong AutoCAD skills, and robust project management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent knowledge about VRF Systems (Design & Execution).
• Must have experience in project execution.
• Proven working experience in HVAC (Air Conditioning) Projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC products, technical details/design and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.
• Hands on experience and excellent command on MS Excel & other project management software.
• Ability to plan and see the big picture.
• Competent in conflict and crisis management.
• Leadership and human resources management skills.
• Self-motivated with excellent time and project management skills.
• Ability to work within an environment with deadlines while multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Providing right solution to the technical sales team and end-client (For VRF Projects).
• Must have excellent in AutoCAD. Provide right assistance to the design team and verify the same.
• Planning Engineer is responsible for assisting in the design of the project, verifying that the Scope of Work is adequately represented, facilitating in the execution of the project, assisting in all project scheduling and milestones.
• Responsible for the review of any and all project documents for the purpose of complete familiarization of the assigned project.
• Complete and manage all RFIs, change orders, submitting, procurement logs and quotes.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Provides resources and direction to successfully manage assigned projects: to assure an acceptable profit level by completing all assigned projects within or below the estimated budget; to maintain a 100% on time completion record; to satisfy the client.
• Works with the Project Foremen and Superintendents to maintain a safe work environment.

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Project Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC system and extensive knowledge of VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems Preparation of Solutions, Drawings, Technical Submittals, Attending meetings with consultants/clients to acquire approvals, preparation of relevant reports and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing right solution to the technical sales team and end-client (For VRF Projects).
• Must have excellent in AutoCAD. Provide right assistance to the design team and verify the same.
• The Planning Engineer is responsible for assisting in the design of the project, verifying that the Scope of Work is adequately represented, facilitating in the execution of the project, assisting in all project scheduling and milestones, insuring that all equipment and materials are on the job site when needed, identifying and resolving obstacles related to the project, for closing out the project according to the approved schedule, and for bringing in the job on or under budget.
• Responsible for the review of any and all project documents for the purpose of complete familiarization of the assigned project.
• Complete and manage all RFIs, change orders, submitting, procurement logs and quotes. Ensure all project team members are fully informed of this information.
• Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
• Provides resources and direction to successfully manage assigned projects: To assure an acceptable profit level by completing all assigned projects within or below the estimated budget. To maintain a 100% on time completion record. Complete all assigned projects to the satisfaction of the client.
• Works with the Project Foremen and Superintendents in providing a clean, secure and safe work environment for all personnel working on assigned projects, and a safe environment for the community.

Requirements:

• Must have excellent knowledge about VRF Systems (Design & Execution)
• Must have experience in project execution.
• Proven working experience in HVAC (Air Conditioning) Projects
• Knowledge of HVAC products, technical details/design and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
• Hands on experience and excellent command on MS Excel & other project management software.
• Ability to plan and see the big picture

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor/Masters or Diploma in Mechanical or HVAC Certification courses.
• Experience working on commercial, industrial, or residential HVAC projects.
