Job summary

Segula Technologies in Chennai is seeking a Senior HVAC Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design HVAC systems for plants, including layout, PFD/ID, insulation, and ducting details. You will prepare design basics, system standards, and FAT/SAT procedures, while managing subcontractor bids and project schedules.

The role requires hands-on use of NAVISWORK, REVIT MEP, and AutoCAD, with familiarity in ASME/ASHRAE/ISHRAE guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering required.
• At least 5 years of experience; senior level.
• HVAC design and detailing experience across plant layout, PFD/ID.
• Experience with HVAC standards like ASHRAE/ISHRAE guidance.

Responsibilities

Sizing of the HVAC equipment and determination of heat losses and heat gains, HVACequipment selection Preparing the HVAC Design Basis and Philosophy, Preparing the HVAC SYSTEM - D & ID, AIR FLOW DIAGRAM Preparing the Ducting Layout, Ducting Support Layout & Details, Insulation Details,HVAC System Standard Drawings In-depth knowledge of HVAC used in OA e platforms/ Oil & Gas platforms especiallyin E- Room Hands on experience on NAVISWORK, REVIT MEP, AUTOCAD Thorough knowledge of ASME.
